Tattoo History

I began tattooing in December of 2005. I love doing bright, bold color work, and I also really enjoy the challenge of custom pieces. I like going the extra mile for my clients and really researching, in depth, the topic of their designs to make sure everything is just right.

I worked at a different tattoo shop in Milwaukee for about 7 months before coming to Madd Tatter Ink. I really enjoy working here, everyone's super nice and knowledgeable, the studio is clean, bright, and organized, even the clientèle is nicer!

I began my tattoo apprenticeship in Spring of 2005, and although my mentor tried to restrict what I learned, my thirst for knowledge forced me to reach out to tattoo artists around the world to find answers to my thousands of questions. I'm still learning, and I don't plan to ever stop. Every bit of information I gather improves my work and opens my mind to new questions and new possibilities.

For as long as I can remember I've had a fierce need to express my creativity, from sitting outside as a child, building sculptures out of sticks and mud, to doodling on every page of my math book, to writing poetry and singing. As a teen, I competed at county and state levels in 4-H with acrylic and watercolor paintings, paper mache, basket weaving, cake decorating, and photography.

I'm scheduled to work Wed. and Thurs. from 6pm to 9pm, Sat. from 12noon to 9pm, and Sun. from 12noon to 6pm. However, I will come in other weekday evenings, earlier on weekends or even stay later, as needed, to help work around my client's schedules. I'm a full-time Mom of 2 rambunctious boys, ages 10 years and 2 years, so I KNOW what busy feels like!
